The plenary of the Sumar Assembly unanimously approved the six political resolutions, reflecting their commitment to reduce the workday to 32 hours per week and create a policy of alliances calling for unity and understanding among all the political forces that participated together in the 23J elections and «beyond», which is an implicit message.

This was indicated in statements to the media by the Secretary in charge of organizing training and the future general coordinator, Lara Hernández, to take into account the debate and resolutions of the Congress to be added.

The issue of convergence was a constant in this assembly, where it was agreed to continue advancing in PACTs with the parties with which they are «called to understand and not only», explained Hernández, emphasizing the need to look at both the parties and civil society.

«From now on, we have to go, hit the road and implement this roadmap. Our vocation is to talk to everyone, with all the forces, and open this organization to the people, open the doors of politics to defeat the PP,» she added, emphasizing their general unity.

She also pointed out, in the absence of Vice President Yolanda Díaz, at the opening of the meeting, that the Minister, ranked third on the list for the renewed leadership, will assume the position of Institutional Coordinator and is the figure with a political administration consolidated by the company itself.

Therefore, she explained that she would take the floor during the closing meeting, which will take place at the Alcázar Theater in Madrid.

In one of the resolutions approved by the 500 delegates with the right to vote in the Assembly, they added the lawyer to reissue a unitary candidacy to the alternative left, because it calls for «understanding» all the formations that participated in the 23J elections to reach electoral agreements for the next electoral cycle.

They also reaffirm the application of one of their iconic measures, the creation of a «universal inheritance» consisting of a lump sum of 20,000 euros for young people to promote their emancipation, studies, and entrepreneurship.

On the other hand, Sumar emphasizes the need to democratize the scope of companies and support legislation that entails representation of employees within the Board of Directors.

Meanwhile, they reaffirm their commitment to obtain as a universal benefit for the responsible child, thereby guaranteeing the right to care and the foundations for «decent lives for children.»

Another aspect they address is the establishment of a public, public, and social care system to meet care needs through co-response policies, along with a «correct» system that contemplates care for children, the elderly, or dependents «beyond strictly family ties.»

Meanwhile, they stipulate that they will advocate for the reduction of public fees for university studies, so that, within a decade, it will be achieved. They also require that at least 1% of GDP be allocated to higher education.

They also advocate for animal protection, including rules that provide protection for bulls, recognize veterinary clinics as healthcare centers, and achieve zero pet abandonment.

On the other hand, in the changes, it is clear that the addition will expand with the acronym «A+», referring to people identified as asexual, to refer to the «LGTBIQ» group. In this way, they will refer to it as «Lgtbiqa+».

Furthermore, agreed changes have been introduced to create a youth secretariat within the party, as well as to ensure youth participation in all organs by adding 16%.
