Sanz cree que el gobierno busca eliminar los «privilegios de la independencia» en la reunión de deuda.

The Andalusian councilor for the presidency, interior, social dialogue, and administrative simplification, Antonio Sanz, stated on Monday that the government, which has called for a technical meeting of the board this week to address the issue of conflicting debts, is only seeking «the privileges of those who aspire to independence.»

He emphasized that the central government must put a new regional financing model on the table and a temporary equalization fund for communities that are not up to date, such as Andalusia.

During the Parliamentary Commission, Antonio Sanz expressed the autonomous government’s «discontent» with the political relations with the National Executive, which only seeks «permanent blockade and dissatisfaction for this community.»

Sanz lamented the «permanent blockade and dissatisfaction» towards Andalusia, despite the constant «dialogue and agreement» of the Board of Directors, which is «absolute and unbreakable.»

He indicated that the Board of Directors is trying to «seek a permanent agreement,» but faces the «dissatisfaction and blockade» of the National Executive.

Regarding institutional relations, the councilor referred to the Bilateral State Cooperation Commission, where a total of 23 issues were discussed in the normative monitoring subcommittee, prevention, and dispute resolution. Out of the 23 procedures (22 regional rules and 1 state rule) addressed since Juanma Moreno became president of the board, 20 agreements were reached, while two agreements were not formalized because the deadline for appealing to the rules in the Constitutional Court had passed, and in one case, the invitation to negotiate was not accepted by the State focus, as indicated.

He also mentioned agreements with the central government, such as Doñana or the joint police, and the commission created to resolve the El Algarbico hotel issue in Carboneras (Almería).

«We have reached an agreement in the bilateral commission on more than 90% of the issues with the central government, where a kind of discrepancy was organized,» he said.

After alluding to the PSOE at the technical meeting on forgiving the scheduled debt on Wednesday, he stated that it does not seem like the «meeting of the century» and insisted that Andalusia should not eliminate the debt but rather implement a new regional financing system.

On the other hand, PSOE-A deputy Mario Jiménez criticized the councilor for not mentioning the technical meeting that the government and the board will hold on Wednesday to address the damages issue, which he believes should be addressed by the Andalusian government. He stated that the Board of Directors «needs confrontation to have a minimum of political initiative because it is an inert government that cannot address and resolve any of the problems that Andalusia faces.»

The PP-A government, according to him, is «a vehicle that will generate fundamental problems in essential public services, those that steal and destroy.»

Vox deputy Ricardo López Olea argued that despite the Board ranking relations with the government as «unsatisfactory,» in the end, they reach «90% when it comes to constitutional issues,» and PP, strategies, alliances, and the same agendas, such as 2023, have presented an «agreement» for the renewal of institutions and bodies. He also claimed that PP adopts the «ideological laws» of the PSOE. «PP and PSOE are the same,» he said.

PP-A deputy José Ricardo García stated that what the Government of Spain is doing with Andalusia is a scam and indicated that the PSOE is the «removal» part: «They eliminate the rights, freedoms, and financing of Andalusia because they continue to dictate independence.»
