Sanz cede sus despachos a 29 nuevos Subinspectores del Cuerpo de Policía Municipal

Inma Sanz during the ceremony to award orders to 29 new subinspectors of the XIV promotion of the Municipal Police

The deputy mayor of Madrid, delegate for Security and Emergency Situations and municipal spokesperson, Inma Sanz, presided over the appointments and transfers of duties to 29 new subinspectors of the XIV promotion of the Municipal Police today, whom she thanked for their «effort and commitment, their willingness to progress and excel, and their deep sense of public service.»

«The people of Madrid, for whom we work, are also grateful because they have contributed, within municipal competencies, to making us one of the safest cities in the world,» emphasized Sanz, who recalled that in the previous term «a great effort was made to provide the Police with the necessary means and resources it needs and deserves.»

The awarding of the orders took place at the Integral Training Center in Security and Emergencies (CIFSE) and was attended by various municipal and police authorities, as well as the families of the new subinspectors. These incorporations are the result of the commitment of the Government team to hold all pending calls in order to expand the staff and fill positions at different levels of the organization. With the addition of these 29 subinspectors, the Municipal Police force now totals 188. The average age of these new subinspectors is 50 years old. /
