11th edition of the Solar Forum under the motto Solar energy, engine of industrialization: Teresa Ribera The Vice President III of the Government and Minister for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, will inaugurate the 11th edition of the Solar Forum. Under the motto ‘Solar energy, engine of industrialization‘, the 11th edition of the Solar Forum will host approximately twenty discussion panels and presentations with over 70 national and international speakers, with dozens of attendees.
During the two days, the hottest topics in the sector will be analyzed, such as compliance with the New PNIEC, profitability of installations, development of storage, deployment and advancement of energy communities, self-consumption, or social response capacity.
Spanish Photovoltaic Union, UNEF will once again organize in Madrid the 11th edition of the Solar Forum, the national reference photovoltaic event. Under the motto ‘Solar energy, engine of industrialization‘, this year’s Solar Forum, celebrating its eleventh edition, will feature the inaugural speech of the Minister for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO), Teresa Ribera, who has just presented the Energy Plan 2030 before heading to the European Commission as Executive Vice-President for Clean, Fair and Competitive Transition.
The 11th edition of the Solar Forum will feature around twenty roundtables and presentations where the most influential professionals and public decision-makers in the field of renewable energies will analyze the current situation and future of the sector.
Prominent representatives of the most relevant national institutions in the sector will attend the event, such as Rebeca Torró, Secretary of State for Industry at the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Tourism; Carlos Redondo, Deputy Director General of Electric Energy at MITECO; Eva María Blanco, Deputy Director of Environmental Evaluation at MITECO; or Beatriz Corredor and María Concepción Sánchez, President and Director General of Operations at RED respectively.
The autonomous communities will also play a prominent role in the 11th edition of the Solar Forum, with the participation of voices such as Mercedes Gómez, Minister of Sustainable Development in the Government of Castilla-La Mancha; or Manuel Larrasa, General Secretary of Energy in the Andalusian Regional Government.
The event will also analyze the international market, with the participation of prominent international figures such as Marcelo Álvarez, President of the Solar Committee of the Chamber of Renewable Energies of Argentina, or Izumi Kaizuka, Deputy Director of Task 1 on New Energies and Industrial Technology at the Development Organization.
During the two days of the 11th edition of the Solar Forum, the main companies in the region will also gather, along with experts in sustainability, regulation, and project financing in the renewable energy sector.
