The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has issued a yellow warning due to heavy rains and storms expected for this Saturday in the Sierra de Madrid. Specifically, it predicts an accumulated precipitation of 15 millimeters in one hour from 14 to 21 hours on the 12th. In the rest of the region, there will be rain, but not as intense.
In light of this forecast, the Madrid Security and Emergency Agency (ASE 112) has advised municipalities and agencies in the Sierra area to exercise extreme caution if driving private vehicles along the Sierra roads. It is also recommended to stay informed about road conditions, maintain a safe distance, and reduce speed.
