Stubb propone fecha límite para alto incendio en Ucrania

Alexander Stubb proposed April 20 as an ideal deadline, citing Easter and respecting Trump’s three-month position.
The Finnish President, Alexander Stubb, made a surprise trip on Saturday to meet with the President of the United States, Donald Trump, in Florida. There, both leaders discussed strengthening the bilateral alliance between their countries and played a round of golf.
«President Stubb and I look forward to strengthening the alliance between the United States and Finland, which includes the purchase and development of a large number of icebreakers that the United States urgently needs to ensure international peace and security for our countries and the world,» Trump posted on his social media platform.
Stubb mentioned on Sunday that he had informed the U.S. president of the need to set a deadline for a ceasefire in Ukraine. «April 20 would be a good time for a ceasefire without conditions. A deadline is required because it is Easter, and because President Donald Trump will have been in office for three months,» Stubb told the Finnish press in London.
After their meeting, Trump posted on his social media platform: «President Stubb and I look forward to strengthening the alliance between the United States and Finland, which includes the purchase and development of a large number of icebreakers that the United States urgently needs, ensuring international peace and security for our countries and the world.»
A few hours after meeting with Stubb, the U.S. President said in an interview that he is «very upset» with Russian President Vladimir Putin after criticizing the leadership of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky the previous Friday. To elaborate on his reasoning, he added, «New leadership means there won’t be a long agreement, right?» Trump also mentioned that he «expects to speak a little this week.»
