According to Hortyfruita, the variable weather has affected both the quality of the fruits and the clustering of the harvest. It also emphasized that between the last week of March and the three weeks of April, «around 15% of the entire production of black eggplants is sold.»

The Interprofessional Crisis Committee has thus applied the extension of the standard based on quality standards, mandatory for all production and marketing operators in Andalucia, approved and published in the official newspaper.

On the other hand, from Hortyfruta, it was warned that they will continue to monitor the evolution of all their covered products to ensure the quality and competitiveness of the sector.

In particular, the interprofessional pays special attention to the situation of zucchini, whose production has shown an increase in week 15 of the campaign.
