Madrid will live its Holy Week with more than twenty processions that will visit the streets from the Friday of Sorrows to the Resurrection on Sunday. The Brotherhoods, accompanied by their valuable procession steps, will be filled with solemnity, fervor, tradition, and art in the city. The processions will start on Friday of Sorrows (April 11), with the departure from the parish of San Ramón Nonato of the Christ and the Virgin of Pity, followed by the happy Christ and our Sorrows, who will process from the parish of San Raimundo de Peñafort, both from Puente Vallecas.

Palm Sunday, Holy Monday, and Holy Wednesday
On Palm Sunday (April 13), an intense day will be lived with four processions visiting the city: Our Father Jesus of Love (Borriquita), Our Father Jesus of Forgiveness (silent procession), Christ of Faith and Health, and Holy Christ (the image)

On Holy Monday (April 14), it will be the turn of Christ of the Road, while on Holy Wednesday (April 16), the Holy Christ of the Three Waterfalls and Our Lady of Hope will do the same, in addition to Our Father of Health and Mary, the Most Holy of Anguish (Gypsies).

Maundy Thursday and Good Friday
On Maundy Thursday (April 17), from the Church of San Pedro El Viejo, our Father Jesus the Nazarene «poor» and the Holy Name of Mary in her solitude will be unveiled. On Friday, there will be four other processions: the Funeral of the Holy Virgin and Happy of Solitude, Mary, the Most Holy of the Seven Sorrows, the Holy Funeral, and the Silent Procession.

Holy Saturday and Resurrection Sunday
On Holy Saturday (April 19), from the Church of the Concepción Real de Calatrava, the procession of Solitude and Impotence will begin, which will take the official route and cross Puerta del Sol. As it passes through Plaza de Villa, around 6:30 p.m., the singer Rocío Luna will sing a Saeta.

On Resurrection Sunday (April 20), at 11:30 a.m., the Eucharist will take place at the Jerónimo Monastery in Corpus Christi (Monastery of Las Carboneras), to end with the traditional procession of the Resurrection by the Coronry Brotherhood (Zaragoza), which will return to the center of Madrid to end in the Plaza Mayor.
