La Hermandad del Refugio inicia la campaña CUY para Semana Santa por su solidaridad

The Brotherhood of the Refuge began this Holy Week the traditional campaign of questions for which it requests the solidarity of the citizens with the motto «with your help little by little, we will achieve a lot».
With the donations received during these days, they generally cover a significant percentage of their annual budget, so they encourage contributions to address the various aid initiatives they maintain throughout the year, such as distributing food to families, providing physiological and dietary care to children from birth, early childhood, advising children.
The Brotherhood explains that the commitment it entails is becoming increasingly complex: «We see how resources are insufficient due to the decrease in subsidies and changes in programs like FLEAD, on the one hand, and the increasing economic needs of families, on the other.»
Therefore, they acknowledge that the effort to be with the most vulnerable «would not be possible without the collaboration of many individuals and entities.»
After a 2024 «of some satisfaction and many problems,» they claim to face 2025 «with great concern for the major and serious changes that seem to be coming to international politics.»
The Brotherhood refers to the opening of «war fronts» and «the exaggerated ambition of a few to the detriment of the rest,» which, according to them, «we are heading towards a future full of uncertainty, especially on an economic level, even on an unused level, in an unopened situation, even in an economic situation, even in an economic situation, even on an economic level, even in an economic level, with stable employment.»
To partly mitigate these drawbacks, the Refuge Brotherhood encourages contributions through its website at 2:00 PM, and at one of the various question points activated with the permission of the city of Zaragoza during these Holy Weeks.
