La ciudad de Zaragoza ampliará horario de juegos y tiempo libre para conciliar.

The Municipal Council of Zaragoza will convene a new employment sheet for the CTL and municipal players, which includes different improvements, aimed at adapting conciliation, education, and leisure time to the current needs of families. The new sheet brings more news, such as the reorganization of the opening program that currently offers services from Monday to Friday, to include Saturday mornings.
These municipal centers will open for two and a half hours on Saturday, to contribute to family reconciliation on the weekend. The opening programs of the CTL and the neighborhood game libraries will also be adapted to their needs.
Other improvements provided in this area include the extension of CTL to Almozara and the opening of a new game room for the same district; Consolidation of pilot projects in Oval and Musaraña (Delicias) and Rosales del Canal; and the construction of Venice Park. In the medium term, the inclusion of these services in future civic centers in Hispanidad and Parque Goya is considered.
As reported by the Mayor of Zaragoza, Natalia Chueca, during her visit to the playground and the leisure center (delitos), accompanied by the Municipal Minister of Social Policies, Marian Orós, the Municipal Council is working on a new fight, which will significantly improve this service, with a budget exceeding 5,000,000 euros.
With approximately 140,000 annual participants in the entire network, the 16 players are aimed at children aged 3 to 6 years, while the 30 leisure centers and 1 free time center are used by children aged 7 to 14 years. Both are socio-educational resources aimed at the personal and social development of children and families.
The new employment sheet is an initiative that is part of the commitment of the Zaragoza government to strengthen policies to support local families, in this case, improving one of the municipal services best rated by citizens.
Specifically, the latest municipal barometer survey in 2024 rates the time and game libraries at 7.27, surpassed by firefighters, 010, and the tram.
As the mayor said during her visit: «As a child-friendly city, the goal of the Municipal Council is to strengthen the network of players and leisure centers, with quality services that adapt to the needs of families in all aspects. Therefore, we will adapt the bonuses for players, who will open on Saturdays, improve school support, and continue to enhance childhood programs.
Additionally, 2025 marks 40 years since the opening of the first leisure center, CTL Cantalos, in the Las Fuentes neighborhood. For this reason, the Center will organize holiday events on May 9 and 10, open to all families who wish to attend.
