The former Secretary General of PSOE Aragon, Javier Lambán, will not participate in the 18th Regional Congress, which will take place this weekend in Zaragoza, where Pilar Alegría will be ratified as the leader in this autonomous community.
In a message from his account «X,» the former President of the Aragon government stated, «I believe that my presence will not be very pleasant for the new leadership or for myself. Therefore, I will not attend the Congress. I wish you all the best at @AragonPsoe and thank you for the opportunity that has been beneficial for Aragon and Spain for 42 years.»
The 18th Regional Congress of PSOE Aragon will open on Saturday at the Zaragoza Auditorium, with the presence of the Minister of Presidency and Justice, Félix Bolans; the Secretary General of the Aragonese socialists, Pilar Alegría, and the former President of the Spanish government, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero.
On Sunday, the closing ceremony will feature the intervention of the Secretary General of PSOE and the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez.
