Fabz consolida su liderazgo como orador social en reunión anual.

The Federation of Neighborhood Associations in Zaragoza (FABZ) celebrated its Annual Assembly on Saturday with the participation of approximately one hundred representatives from 44 neighborhood associations who expressed their support for the president Arturo Sancho and the different areas of work. The meeting took place at the Civic Center in District 14 of Jota neighborhood, in honor of the 50 years of the Jota Neighborhood Association. The agenda included discussions on various topics such as the right to housing and combating racism in neighborhoods.
During the Assembly, the different fields of work were presented by the Secretariat representatives, including Communication, Women, Elderly, Health, and Urban Planning. The activities and economic balance of 2024 were approved, along with the programming and budgets until 2025. Resolutions were also passed to defend public health, improve public transportation, and address social and cultural issues in the city.
The extraordinary Assembly also saw the renewal of four positions within the Secretariat, with new members joining the existing team. The closing ceremony included participation from various political and social figures, emphasizing the importance of community engagement and collaboration.
Overall, the Assembly highlighted the commitment of FABZ to address key issues affecting neighborhoods in Zaragoza and to work towards creating a more inclusive and sustainable urban environment. The continued leadership of Arturo Sancho was reaffirmed, ensuring continuity in the Federation’s efforts to support and empower neighborhood associations.
