El PSOE defiende una moción para erradicar lagunas de género en Cortes

The Commission for Employment of the Courts of Aragon Debates will meet on Monday starting at 12:00 and will vote on a motion presented by the PSOE Group focused on the policy of the Department of Presidency, Economy, and Justice to eradicate gender gaps in the scope of their powers.

The initiative addresses the work with proposed measures such as career guidance, promotion of collective bargaining, and public procurement.

Therefore, in terms of career guidance, the socialist group asserts that action should take place at an early age and should address not only girls and boys but also their families. The transfer of information should include content on working conditions in each sector and occupation, the necessary pathways for accessing these occupations, as well as direct experience of the conditions under which the activity is carried out.

Additionally, efforts to intervene in collective bargaining by encouraging equality plans to support trade unions that have to participate in them and companies that, even though not required to implement them, decide to start them.

Furthermore, the PSOE proposes to create an equality observer in collective bargaining to facilitate data sharing among negotiators and prepare the productive system of Aragosez to meet transparency standards that will need to be applied following European regulations.

The motion also calls for public policies to enable women to continue their professional careers during critical periods of their working lives within the basic service system of the community.

Lastly, it advocates for the introduction of social clauses in public contracts aimed at providing services for workforces composed of women, ensuring that wage levels are in line with those received in the regional administration.

The extended board will convene after the conclusion of this debate to establish the next steps.
