El Ministro de Transporte asegura que el tercer Alvia en Extremadura estará operativo antes del verano con parada en Cáceres.

The Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente, visited the works to adapt to pedestrian and cyclist traffic on the N-630 as it passes through Mérida. The Minister of Transport, Óscar Puente, maintains the commitment that the third daily frequency service of the Alvia train in Extremadura will enter «before the summer», and also emphasized that it will have a stop in Cáceres. Additionally, he announced that his department is also working on the start of a high-speed train service to connect the capitals of Extremadura. This will improve the current flows between Cáceres and Badajoz with highly competitive train schedules.
During a media intervention after visiting some works being carried out on the N-630 section in Mérida, Minister Puente highlighted the planning and improvement of services that the central government is implementing in the infrastructure field in Extremadura.
