The Court of First Instance and Instruction Number 2 of Plasencia decreed provisional release with the obligation to appear on the 1st and 15th of each month in court until the last two shootings took place in a neighborhood of Plasencia last Saturday, where a two-year-old girl was killed.
In addition, the judge agreed as a precautionary measure to prohibit leaving the national territory and to withdraw the passport.
These last two individuals are added to nine others who were brought to court yesterday. For six of them, provisional detention without bail was ordered, and for the other three, they were granted freedom with the obligation to appear.
The two detainees were transferred to the Judicial Office of the Court of First Instance and Instruction Number 2 of Plasencia due to capacity issues, but the instruction will be carried out by the Court of First Instance and Instruction Number 1, as reported by the Superior Court of Extremadura.
The investigation is ongoing for crimes of homicide, attempted homicide, injuries, tumultuous disputes, illegal possession of weapons, and threats. The instruction is still ongoing.
