Concierto sorpresa de Veranos en la Villa: Ariel Rot y «Algo Inesperado»
Ariel Rot, the guitarist of Tequila and co-founder of Los Rodríguez, was the guest artist in this edition of something unexpected, a surprise concert that has already become a classic section of the Veranos de la Villa festival, organized by the Zone of Culture, Tourism, and Sports. With a repertoire that has traveled to our days since that distant 1976, the year he began his musical career, he has delivered hits like El vals de los recuerdos, dulce condena. and quiero besarte.
More than a thousand people were able to enjoy one of the most anticipated events of the summer cultural program in the Central Patio of the Condeduque Contemporary Culture Center, with free access to reserve tickets, which sold out within minutes of release. This is a proposal in which the attending public is unaware of the performance they will see, as it is only revealed when the selected group or artist takes the stage and begins to perform.
The evening began with an expectant audience whose excitement grew minute by minute from the moment the first chords sounded, a more than familiar sound that elicited applause from their fans. This is the seventh edition of this surprise concert – in previous years, the protagonists were Vetusta Morla, Morgan, María José Llergo, Carolina Durante, Kiko Veneno, and Mala Rodríguez – which is part of the wide musical offer programmed by the festival that was heard during the nights of the capital, whose stage was once again the Central Patio of Conde Duque.
