The board will meet again on June 5 to iron out flaws and correct some of the proposals for hearings and requests for information made by the groups, and on June 7 the work plan will be set.
Initially, all sessions of the commission will be open, except those that require secret deliberation.
«The number of people testifying is much higher than we thought,» he pointed out, also highlighting that the main problems in the submission of documentation were «not adequately justifying», the connection it may have with the subject of the documentation. . commission requests or very generic reports.
He indicated that the goal is to have the commission completed by the end of the year, but did not hide that «it is very difficult» due to the high volume of parliamentary activity and a «very tight» schedule, so he did not rule out giving tasks to the stragglers, although the goal will be to fit them into the morning schedule, especially in the 12:00 slot because it allows the presence of two witnesses.
The groups supporting the Government -CC, PP, ASG and AHI- requested the appearance of 38 people, including the current Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, and the former advisor to the Ministry of Transport, Koldo García.
They also requested the presence, among others, of Rayco González, administrator of RR7 United -the company that allegedly defrauded SCS four million euros for a million masks that were not received-; businessman Juan Manuel Pérez, the claimant in question; Íñigo Rotaexte, representative of Soluciones de Gestión y Apoyo de Empresas SL, a company linked to the Koldo case; former Health Ministers Julio Pérez, Blas Trujillo and Teresa Cruz; former SCS directors Antonio Olivera and Conrado Domínguez, and former Minister of Finance Román Rodríguez.
On the part of the Socialist Group, the appearance of 12 people was requested, including Minister Ángel Víctor Torres, PP deputy Carlos Ester, Hospital Doctor Negrín director Miguel Ángel Ponce, and businessman Agustín Manrique de Lara.
In the case of Vox, and apart from the businessmen linked to the «mask case» RR7, the appearance of Torres and Koldo García, former Minister of Transport José Luis Ábalos, and mediator Antonio Tacoronte, among others, was requested.
