SOS Rioja responde a 437 llamadas por caída de suministro eléctrico

The Hospital San Pedro de Logroño maintains outpatient consultations and all diagnostic tests and scheduled operations will be suspended tomorrow, Tuesday.
From the government to Rioja, work is being done through the Emergency Operations Coordination Center (CECOP) to respond to the total power outage situation across the country.
To do this, as reported, a level 2 alert was decreed and more than 503 troops were mobilized. In the absence of a complete replacement of this supply with Spanish electricity, the following data can be provided:
Since the beginning of the event related to the power outage that took place throughout Spain and affected several European countries, SOS Rioja members have processed around 338 files and responded to over 437 calls.
Among these files, approximately 106 assistance incidents (people unable to access their homes or trapped in elevators), 78 informational incidents, 55 health actions, 31 coordination files, 14 anthropic risk incidents resulting from the power shortage, and two security files were generated.
Furthermore, the healthcare system performed satisfactorily. Therefore, both the University Hospital in San Pedro and the Calahorra Hospital recovered the electricity supply at the beginning of the afternoon, around 4:53 p.m., and are working normally after reviewing critical services, with the staff and resources to ensure proper care for Rioja. In fact, personnel reinforcements are maintained in key areas in case of a new incident. Additionally, the infrastructure has been recharged to maintain full operability.
During the decision to restore electricity, the structural groups that allowed for the completion of ongoing consultations and interventions were activated at that time. There were no significant incidents in the rest of the community health centers.
For tomorrow, Tuesday, outpatient consultations and all diagnostic tests will continue as scheduled, with only the scheduled operations being suspended. Currently, data on affected operations and consultations due to the power outage that affected the entire country and parts of Europe are being collected.
