Tomorrow, the Princess of Asturias will arrive with the rest of the Guardiarmarinas, who will accompany her on the instrument cruise aboard the school ship for the next five months.
The ship is already anchored in front of the Brazilian city of Golfo, which gives it its name and is the second largest in the world, according to images released by the royal household. In these images, in addition to the city in the background, Princess Leonor is seen posing on the deck and also hanging out with several colleagues on one of the masts, looking very happy.
The heir to the throne and the 75 colleagues will be welcomed with the sound of a percussion group of women from a school related to Carlinhos Brown and the Spanish Ambassador in Brazil, Mar Fernández-Palacios, on Friday, Friday, at noon in Spain.
Subsequently, the Ambassador, as well as the prefect of Salvador de Bahía and the governor of Omim, where Princess Leonor will participate, following the formula used in the two previous stops in the Canary Islands. The day will be completed with a reception on board.
During their stay, which will last until February 19, a sightseeing tour is planned in the city, as well as the laying of a floral offering for the fallen armed forces and a Formal Delivery Law to Marinha Do Brasil with the Spanish Navy of the restored copy of the «Site and Company of Salvador de Bahía.»

The heir to the throne will set foot on land three weeks after the school ship left the port of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria for the American continent and a month after sailing from the port of Cádiz.
At this point, Princess Leonor, along with the 75 classmates at the Naval School of Marín, continued with their naval instructions on board, combining practical tasks related to navigation, theory, and guard duties.
The Brazilian port of Salvador de Bahía will be the first stop for «Juan Sebastián Elcano,» which will dock on February 19 in Montevideo (Uruguay), where its arrival is scheduled for March 5.
From here, four days later, it will head to Chile, where the school ship plans two stops in Punta Arenas and the ports of Valparaíso, already in the Pacific. In April, «Elcano» will arrive in Callao (Peru), then continue to Panama and cross the canal on May 6 to enter the Caribbean.
After that, it will reach the port of Cartagena de Indias (Colombia), where a visit to Santa Marta is also planned, and from there it will continue to Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic). The final stop will be in New York (United States) in early June.
From there, «Elcano» will sail to Gijón, where its arrival is scheduled for July 3. Princess Leonor will not make this return trip as she will fly from New York to Spain to board a frigate next month, although she will return to this port in Asturias to complete the journey to Ferrol, where she will arrive on July 9.
