Más de 11,000 personas participarán en el gran desfile del Carnaval Badajoz 2025 el 2 de marzo.

The Great Carnival Parade of Badajoz 2025 attracted more than 11,000 people on Sunday, March 2nd. This event, which holds international tourist interest, took place from February 28th to March 9th. It was one of the most massive editions in terms of participation, with the actress Carolina Yuste, who recently won the Goya for Best Leading Actress, serving as the responsible for the inaugural proclamation.
The carnival parade, held between Santa Marina Avenue and Dragones Hernán Corté Square after 12:00, featured floats, animation groups, and performers. This year, there were stands on Avenida de Europa and Enrique Segura, as well as seats along the rest of the route, all available for a fee of 9 and 7 euros, which reduced to 6 and 5 euros for the Children’s Parade 28. Additionally, there was a designated area for people with reduced mobility and their companions, with easy access and adapted bathrooms.
José Antonio Casablanca, the councilor of fairs and festivals, detailed the availability of stands and paid seats for the parade, which could be purchased online or on-site. The auction for these spots was open and closing soon, allowing for more information on the sales platform. However, there were also free standing areas for spectators to enjoy the parade.
