The strike called by Cemsatse in primary care in Aragón was joined by 672 out of 3,088 workers who were scheduled to provide services on Monday, representing 21.76% of the total staff, according to data provided by the Department of Health of the Aragón Government. In terms of sectors, the highest strike participation was in Zaragoza, particularly in Sector II, with 322 out of 650 professionals, 49.54%, followed by Sector I, 140 out of 425, 32.94%; and Sector III, 23.77%, with 154 out of 648 workers.
The percentages, according to health-provided data, were notably lower in the rest of the sectors, with a participation rate of 9.82% in Huesca, 8.62% in Calatayud, and 4.01% in Barbastro. Strike participation was even lower in the Teruel sector at 1.74%, where 5 workers out of 288 joined the strike, and an anecdotal 0.28% in Alcañiz, where only one professional participated in the protest.
The tracking data provided by the unions and focused on the health centers in the capital of Aragón showed significant variations. In most of these centers, which included family doctors, pediatricians, and nurses, there were full plenary sessions on the first of the two strike days.
Therefore, protest reports indicate that, regardless of the established minimum services, all family doctors and pediatricians did not participate in their positions at Nightingale, San José Centro and Norte, Arracal, San José Sur, Park Roma, Repofer, Almozara, North Actur, Picaral, Venice, Fernando El Católico, and OL. In the remaining centers, 85% of the doctors at Casablanca Health Center joined the strike day, 90% at Parque Goya and Valdespera, 70% at Univérsitas, 80% at Delicias Norte, 50% at Miralbuno. Among this group, pediatricians joined the protest, with no data available for Univérsitas.
On the other hand, strike participation among healthcare personnel varied widely, from 100% at San José Sur, Reboler, and Actor Sur, nearly full at 95% at Parque Roma and Delicias Norte; 90% at Católico Fernando, Venecia, Valdespera, Parque Goya, and Actor Norte; 82% at Oliver and 80% at Almozara; 75% at San José Norte and Univérsitas; 60% at Nightingale and 50% at San José Centro and Bombarda. Additionally, there was no participation at Miralbueno and a 0% rate at Casablanca.
