Insta al gobierno a acelerar la rotonda de Puebla de Alfindén

The popular group of the Congress of Deputies and Senate, on Tuesday, has submitted a non-right-wing proposal to the Spanish government requesting the acceleration of the execution of the roundabout that connects the industrial properties of Puebla de Alfindén and BTV, N-II, in this city of Zaragoza.
The PP defended that this infrastructure, which has been demanded for over a decade, is «crucial» to improve road safety and economic growth in the area.
The Secretary General of the PP in Aragon, Ana Alós, emphasized that «this roundabout, so important for Puebla de Alfindén and for the entire central region of Zaragoza, was completely abandoned by the government of Pedro Sánchez, despite being a minor investment in the general state budgets.»
In her words, this is «another proof of the contempt with which they treat Aragon», which «punishes this land in favor of their independence partners.»
In this sense, she added, in reference to the «WhatsApp» messages published in the media, that the President of the Government had a «personal investigation» against the former Aragonese president, Javier Lambán, «because he opposed the pacts of Bildu», which she believes «resulted in a budgetary sentence for Aragon.»
In this regard, Alós assured that «in the general state budgets of 2021 and throughout the Legislature, investments in Catalonia and the Basque Country were a priority to the detriment of Aragon.»
«The glory of Puebla is just another example of the systematic abandonment of Aragonese infrastructure by the PSOE,» said the popular deputy, who called on the executive spokesperson, Aagona Pilla Alegría, to find out «what she has to say.» «Will you remain silent while they marginalize our community?» he asked.
For his part, the president of the PP in Zaragoza, Ramón Celma, emphasized the importance of this work for the future of Puebla de Alfindén. «Today we bring to Congress a historic statement from the residents and business owners of Puebla de Alfindén, who have been waiting for a solution that the Spanish government continues to delay,» he said.
In addition, the mayor of the municipality, María Pilla Villanueva, stressed that «the lack of this roundabout seriously affects road safety and the growth of our businesses.»
«We cannot continue to wait any longer, because this project is essential for the development and economic security of the more than 400 business owners and thousands of workers who depend on an infrastructure that has been waiting for a decade,» she said.
The mayor explained that the connection between the industrial properties of Puebla de Alfindén and BTV will not only improve traffic and enhance safety, but will also open up new investments and economic growth for the municipality and the region.
«This project is not just a local demand, but a necessity for the entire central region of Zaragoza, which has great industrial potential and needs adequate infrastructure to continue growing,» said Villanueva.
On the other hand, the councilor of urban planning and infrastructure of La Puebla de Alfindén, Carlos Rueda, insisted that «the N-II road that passes through this municipality is one of the most conflictive points in terms of road safety in the entire province,» so «it is urgent that the government start this work to avoid further delays.»
