Investor Service
CEIM and the Municipal Council of Madrid launched this service at the end of 2020, aimed at the loyalty of foreign companies in the capital, to strengthen support for these entities that stimulate the economy and create jobs in Madrid, as well as to assist and facilitate their activity in the city.
This investor service, which takes place within the umbrella actions of the Investment Office in Madrid (MIA) of the local council, contributes, on the one hand, to strengthen the role of the entity as an agency responsible for promoting Madrid as an attractive destination for new investments and, on the other hand, CEIM consoled as a commercial point.
In the first few months of this service, it served to assess and try to overcome the impact of the crisis caused by the pandemic on the productive capacity, volume of employment, and export of the different sectors of activity, identifying the main problems facing foreign companies to maintain or recover their activity level. It also served to have a better perception of the commercial climate offered by Madrid and adjust the new competitive factors in the post-pandemic context.
Furthermore, the investor service, fully funded by the Municipal Council through CEIM, has focused on identifying future investment projects and studying the feasibility of developing new services or assistance lines.
