El PSOE pide al Congreso condenar discursos de odio contra el grupo LGTBI por Trump

PSOE wants the Congress to condemn the «hate speech» observed by some international leaders, such as the Argentine president, Javier Milei, or the American Donald Trump, against the LGTBI group.
Through a non-proposal for debate in the plenary of the Chamber, compiled by Europa Press, the Socialists affirm that the leaders of Pedro Sánchez’s government in the European Union and the United Nations are promoting a global initiative to combat the criminalization of LGTBI people, promoting revolt and public illumination «in the ildenada» Idliminator is internalization by internalization.
And, in their opinion, in recent months, there has been a «worrying growth» in this type of discourse, which not only «violates» fundamental rights but also «fosters a climate of intolerance and discrimination that ends up leading to acts of violence and marginalization,» they warn.
As an example of these speeches, they mentioned Trump’s policies promoted against trans statements or also Milei during the World Economic Forum in Davos, in which he linked homosexuality to pedophilia, stating that «in its most extreme versions, gender ideology is a simple and soft abuse.»
To address these situations, at another point in the initiative, they state that the government continues to promote and develop a protection plan for LGTBI refugees and generalizing the right of asylum to those fleeing their sexual orientation or gender identity puts them in danger.
They also request international cooperation with human rights organizations working to protect LGTBI rights, offering financial and logistical support for programs that assist people affected by discriminatory policies.
Finally, the Socialists request the government to implement national awareness and education campaigns that promote respect and inclusion of the LGTBI group, combating stereotypes and prejudices that lead to discrimination and violence.
To address the «domino effect» that may result from a marked «devolution» through «direct attacks on the most fundamental rights» of the LGTBI group.
