El líder del PSOE de Extramadura pide lealtad al gobierno ante las tarifas de Trump

The president of Diputacia de Badajoz and the leader of PSOE Extramadura, Miguel Ángel Gallardo, questioned the chairwoman of the board, María Guardiola, requesting «loyalty» to the central government to «guarantee the well-being» of the companies in the territory announced by the United States administration.
In his speech at «¡Despertar el foro español!» from El Español, Gallardo stated that there was a positive response from the government of Pedro Sánchez to the economic measures of Donald Trump and urged for «loyalty» from the popular president «against the risk» for the companies.
«There is nothing worse for the economy than uncertainty, it always slows down and is a very negative moment in which we are living, because those who mainly bet on globalization are pursuing a completely opposite policy,» said Gallardo.
Gallardo acknowledged the «determined commitment» of the former socialist president of Extramadura, Guillermo Fernández, in the summer, for the industrialization of the community and defended that it is a «paradigm shift» for the region.
«We have great hope, so by 2028 Extramadura will be a major manufacturer of batteries for electric cars, with an investment of around one billion euros and 900 jobs,» proclaimed the president of Diputacia de Badajoz in his speech.
These statements were included in the «Complete STIHAB Energy Project» announced in 2021 and promoted by the company Phi4Tech, which aims to establish a lithium battery factory in the Badajoz logistics platform.
The president of Diputacia de Badajoz also advised mayors to «take seriously» the cyber-attacks that municipalities may face, in relation to the cyber offensive, which the administration fell victim to on March 7, which was coordinated.
He was also proud of the «waiting work» that Diputacia carried out, allowing them to be «protected.»
«We must be aware that an administration like ours, serving 155 municipalities, plus 14 smaller local entities, has so many open doors to criminals, while the services are granted to these municipalities,» explained Gallardo.
Finally, the socialist leader appreciated the use of artificial intelligence in administration and added that it should «start today to prepare for the administration of the future.»
He also addressed the issue of labor transformation, explaining that job profiles «will be completely different,» acknowledging that the automation of certain services will mean job losses.
«There is a reality, it is likely that artificial intelligence will not eliminate your job. Those who will truly take it are those who know how to work with artificial intelligence,» explained the president of Diputacia de Badajoz.
