El desafío Madrid invita a empresarios y pequeñas empresas a presentar soluciones para desafíos.

The Madrid City Council presented the Boat Innovation Center on Monday, with eight challenges for startups, entrepreneurs, and small businesses to contribute their solutions. These challenges represent the daily obstacles faced by private companies and public administrations, as defined by the CEO of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Ángel Niño. The goal is to engage all stakeholders in the Madrid business ecosystem to create innovative solutions.
The first edition of Challenge Madrid, an initiative promoted by the delegated area of innovation and entrepreneurship, aims to provide a space where private organizations and administrations can discover and test disruptive solutions implemented by the business ecosystem. The challenges include:
– Una vez: How can the user experience for visually impaired individuals in a healthcare center be improved?
– Pfizer: How can an automated training space be created for factory operators to use machines without being physically present?
– Akkodis: How can the job posting process be optimized for clarity and conciseness?
– Sacyr: What strategy can be implemented to improve control over construction project terms to align with reality?
Additionally, challenges are launched by various agencies of the City Council:
– Talento Madrid: How can young talent looking to transform public administration be identified and connected?
– Subdirectorate General of Conservation of Green Areas and Urban Forests: How can the needs and risks associated with roadside trees and green areas be predicted to optimize urban maintenance services?
– General Directorate of Transparency and Quality: What tool can be integrated to enhance the quality and automation of validations when publishing open data?
– Mercamadrid: What is the best way to collect and manage data for improved analysis and reduced manual workload?
Eight solutions will be selected, and €220,000 will be allocated to develop pilots. Startups and small businesses interested in participating can register until May 16th on the Madrid Innovation Lab website. Each high challenge will work closely with the selected solution to create a minimum viable product (MVP).
The pilot projects will be tested in the final phase and showcased at events within the innovative ecosystem, such as 4fyn and South Summit. This initiative aims to foster collaboration and innovation within the Madrid business community.
