Top Bullfighters at San Isidro 2025

This year’s San Isidro Fair takes place between May 9 and June 8, including 28 bullfights, 23 bulls, two rejoneadores, and three novilladas, in addition to the traditional and In Memoriam extraordinary benefits, which this time will pay tribute to the breeder Victorino Martín Andrés.

Madrid’s COSO will be the stage for bullfighting figures like Alejandro Talavante, Sebastián Castella, José María Manzares, Andrés Roca Rey, Miguel Ángel Perera, Emilio de Justo, or Morante de la Puebla. Awards for the 2024 Season

During the gala, awards were given for the past season, with journalist Roberto Gómez named as a bullfighting ambassador; Santiago Domecq distinguished as the best breeder; Youth and Fighting Bull awards went to the Royal Union of Bull Breeders; Woman and Bull in Madrid went to novice bullfighter Olga Casado, José Cabero Yiyo School student, and filmmaker Albert Serra recognized with the El Mundo award. The grand winner trophy of the fair went to the right-hander – Andrés Roca Rey.

The president thanked Miguel Abellán for his work at the helm of the Bullfighting Center and greeted his successor, Miguel Martín, and congratulated Victoria Federica for being the face of this year, highlighted for her blend of youth, fashion, and passion for the art.
