Detenido en Madrid el principal sospechoso por desaparición en Santa Olalla (Huelva) con cuatro arrestados.

The Guardia Civil arrested the main suspect in the disappearance of a 48-year-old woman in Santa Celalla (Huelva) last June on Thursday in Plaza de Puerta del Sol in the capital of Madrid. Along with this man, a woman from the same municipality was also arrested on Thursday, bringing the total number of people detained in connection with this disappearance to four, according to sources close to the investigation.

The operation led to the arrest of the main suspect in the disappearance at Plaza de Puerta del Sol, after a strong police cordon. This man resisted and tried to evade capture, but was eventually located and detained by agents, as detailed in a statement by the Benemérita.

On the previous Wednesday, the Guardia Civil activated a search operation that included a raid on a residence in Huelva, conducting a visual inspection in search of evidence that could aid in the location of the missing person. Additionally, other inspections were carried out in areas near the city.

The search operation remains active, with the participation of units from mountain rescue and intervention groups (Greim), a special group for underwater activities (GEA), a specialized unit of the Judicial Police in Huelva, the organic unit of the Judicial Police in Madrid, the Central Operational Unit (UCO), Sedex, Cineogic, Sepona, Pegaso Team, and Citizens’ Security Patrols, all working to locate the missing person.
