In a significant financial move in 2024, BBVA completed three major synthetic risk transfer operations, reaching a portfolio value of 6.4 billion euros, according to the recent prudential relevance report.

The first operation, which took place in March 2024, involved a synthetic title in mortgage loans, valued at 1.4 billion euros. The other two operations were carried out in the last quarter of the year, focused on loans to companies, with amounts of 2 billion and 3 billion euros, respectively.

These operations reflect a continued strategy of the bank to issue regulatory capital. By the end of the year, BBVA increased the total exposure to synthetic risk transfers to 8.55 billion euros, more than double compared to the previous year. Additionally, the total titing exposures reached 9.586 billion euros by the end of the year.

The risk breakdown shows that 1.802 billion euros belong to the retail sector, mainly in mortgage loans, while the majority, around 6.748 billion euros, derive from loans to companies in the wholesale sector.

BBVA also executed two traditional format titles throughout the year, especially in consumer loans, with values of 800 million in May and 1 billion euros in September. Can you please rewrite this sentence?
