La Asamblea Regional de Murcia ha aprobado por unanimidad una moción de PSOE que insta al gobierno regional a contratar al personal de salud necesario para que los cinco aceleradores lineales del Hospital Virgin en Aruxaca estén operativos simultáneamente. Esta medida permitiría que el 100% aproveche los recursos tecnológicos disponibles para los tratamientos oncológicos radioterapiestos y reduzca las derivaciones a los centros privados.
La diputada de PSO, María Soledad Sánchez, denunció que dos de los cinco aceleradores adquiridos con fondos europeos fueron sin usar más de diez meses debido a la falta de personal, mientras que los pacientes en las áreas 6 y 7 continúan recibiendo radioterapia en un centro privado, IMedu Murcia. «Tenemos los dispositivos, tenemos tecnología, pero no se usan porque el gobierno regional no contrata a los profesionales necesarios», dijo.
De Vox, María Eugenia Sánchez apoyó la moción y criticó que los equipos tan caros están subutilizados. También reclamó una gestión eficiente y también propuso que el equipo de transmisión sea donado por la Fundación Amancio Ortega y esto no se utiliza.
El diputado de PP, Great Carmen Ruiz, defendió, por otro lado, la acción del gobierno regional y negó que haya aceleradores desempleados. En este sentido, aseguró que todos los equipos están en funcionamiento, aunque no siempre simultáneamente, debido a la falta de especialistas, un problema que, dijo, es la competencia del gobierno central.
Desde Podemos, María Marín acusó al ejecutivo regional de mantener los recursos públicos para favorecer la derivación de tratamientos de salud privados. «Tenemos los mejores equipos y los mejores profesionales, pero se mantienen en los pobres, mientras que un contrato de 13 millones de euros todavía se paga con el privado», denunció.
Además, el plenario ha aprobado por unanimidad una moción de PSOE que exige la inclusión en los presupuestos comunitarios de 2025 de un juego específico para ofertar y contratar las obras de la carretera RM-332, que se une a Mazarrón con el puerto de Mazarrón.
El diputado socialista Alfonso Martínez recordó que el gobierno regional promete esta infraestructura de quince años. «Fue una de las vías de tráfico más de la región y, sin duda, una de las más peligrosas», dijo.
De Vox, Pascual Salvador apoyó la moción, aunque criticó la falta de progreso real en 16 años de promesas. Recordó que cuando Vox guió al Ministerio de Desarrollo, se escribió el estudio informativo y se inició el procedimiento ambiental, pero se ha arrepentido de que desde entonces el progreso acaba de avanzar. Por lo tanto, propuso un cambio parcial para comenzar el archivo de expropiación y establecer una planificación multianual.
El portavoz de Podemos, Víctor Egío, denunció el abandono histórico de esta infraestructura por el partido popular, recordando que desde los modelos, comerciales y promesas de 2009 se celebraron. «Mazarrón está esperando este trabajo durante casi 20 años y todo lo que ha recibido son los propietarios de objetivos», dijo.
La diputada de la yegua de PP Ángeles Román defendió la voluntad política de su partido para realizar esta acción, aunque enfatizó las dificultades presupuestarias que enfrentan la región para su infinito. «Un trabajo de este calibre, con un costo estimado de 60 millones de euros, requiere planificación, rigor y apoyo financiero», dijo.
During the parliamentary debate, a motion presented by Vox condemns the European Green Pact. The initiative had the support of the Popular Party, while PSOE and Podemos voted against. The motion, according to VOX, aims to denounce the negative effects that the set of European policies for ecological transition has on key sectors, such as agriculture and production.
Vox’s deputy, Antonio Martínez, defended that «the green pact increased prices in the production sector by 110% in agriculture, according to IMF data.» Martínez stated that it is an issue of economic survival and not ideology.
From PSOE, deputy Carmina Fernández accused Vox and PP of using this movement as a «smokescreen» and defended that the European Green Pact responds to a global need against climate change.
On the other hand, Podemos deputy Víctor Egío said that «the European Green Pact is already dead» and accused the European Union of shifting the ecological transition to a war economy. «Now we are not talking about green energy, we are talking about weapons. The bright green pact gave way to the olive green pact,» he said ironically, referring to the increase in military spending.
From PP, Jesús Cano defended his group’s support for moving as a position in line with the defense of Spanish interests. Cano emphasized that the Popular Party is engaged in a realistic ecological transition and has adapted to the country’s situation and denied that his party is inconsistent in supporting the motion.
Also earlier, at the proposal of the popular parliamentary group and with votes against PSOE and Podemos, a motion to strengthen training and awareness of emergencies in educational centers in the region was approved.
PP deputy Carlos Albaladejo defended the initiative, which aims to improve teacher training, promote collaboration with emergency services, and create tailored educational materials to strengthen student protection. «The possibility of dealing with critical situations is real. That’s why we have to be prepared,» he said.
On the other hand, the regional assembly plenary approved the modification of the entire submitted by VOX to a PP movement regarding measures to improve medical care and the quality of life for patients affected by chemical sensitivity. The PP motion, which requested new measures from both the regional government and the Spanish government, was rejected because it was considered a step backwards from what has already been agreed upon. Only PP voted in favor.
The VOX amendment, supported by PSOE and VOX and with the abstention of PP, incorporates new proposals supported by the affected groups, such as developing a regional guide with guidance and recommendations to improve the quality of life of patients and maintaining the level of demand in the implementation of the already approved health protocol.
From PSOE, deputy María Soledad Sánchez explained that they cannot support the PP motion because «the commitment reached in November» has been reduced, proposing measures that are already exceeded or written. «We cannot vote for an initiative that is a technical and political setback,» she said. She also announced that her group requested the appearance of the Minister of Health to explain the degree of compliance with the agreements adopted.
On the other hand, Podemos criticized that PP brings a new motion when what was not approved in November has not yet been implemented. «Institutional policy loses credibility if we vote for things that have not been achieved,» said María Marín.
PP defended that their initiative has complemented the previous one to include proposals to the central government, such as funding research or creating an official catalog of harmless products. However, the groups agreed that the formulation proposed by VOX, including the modification, offered a more solid basis to advance in this rare disease.
