At the event, attended by the president of the Royal Madrid Football Federation, Francisco Díez, and the captains of the four champion teams, the mayor applauded the «feat» of these victories that demonstrate that «the best football is in Madrid.» and above all «the best youth.» Almeida highlighted the «values that sport instills» in the players, the «values of effort, sacrifice, and companionship» and amateur sport as «the purest demonstration of love for sports practice.» Likewise, the mayor thanked the champions for presenting the trophies to the entire city at this event and concluded by reminding them of their worth, «you are capable of accepting any challenge» not only in sports but also in life.
