LKQ RHIAG obtiene la Certificación de Igualdad de Género Uni/PDR 125: 2022

LKQ RHIAG was established as the first company in the automatic machine distribution sector to achieve the prestigious Certification for Gender Equality Uni/PDR 125: 2022. This recognition reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to creating a correct, inclusive, and respectful work environment that values diversity and promotes a model based on equal opportunities.
A Path of Continuous Growth and Improvement
LKQ RHIAG officially obtained the certification through a press release outlining this new objective. The approach taken encompassed every aspect of the corporate culture, fromhuman resources selection and development processes to parental support policies, and prevention of gender-based harassment and discrimination.
Based on the criteria set by UNI/PDR 125: 2022, the certification process involved a rigorous qualitative and quantitative evaluation by the certifier Uniter. The two audit sessions held in July and November allowed formonitoring the interventions implemented by LKQ RHIAG to enhance diversity and foster inclusive corporate practices.
The main fields of intervention included:

- Integration of policies including in selection and promotion processes
- Prevention of gender-based harassment and violence

Training and Awareness: Pillars of LKQ RHIAG
To actively support a corporate culture of equity and inclusion (DE&I), LKQ RHIAG has implemented several high-impact training initiatives. Among them are:
- The dedicated inclusive language course aimed at promoting respectful and stereotype-free communication;
- And The Parenting Meetings cycle;
- The online path «Currency – Your Bias» accessible through the LKQ You platform, designed to raise awareness of unconscious biases that influence workplace dynamics.

To ensure the effectiveness and continuity of equality policies, the company has established The Gender Equality Steering Committee composed of executive team members. LKQ RHIAG is also noted for itscommitment to promoting female talent in the automotive sector, historically dominated by men. The LKQ Women’s Network program, active at a European level, aims to support the professional growth of women through concrete development and training tools.
