La Fiesta de Navidad del Cuartel de Artillería

“Xmas Party” celebrates its second edition this Saturday, bringing together visual and digital arts and electronic music for all audiences. The water tank of the Cuartel de Artillería in Murcia will be transformed into the epicenter of creativity and cultural innovation with the celebration of the second edition of the «Secret XMas Party», organized by the team of «El Jardín Secreto».

Organized in collaboration with the Diputación del Barrio del Carmen and the City Council of Murcia, this multidisciplinary event aims to establish itself «as a reference for alternative leisure, combining electronic music, visual arts, and a strong commitment to sustainability and inclusion,» as reported by the organization in a press release. The event also has the support of the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts.

Inspired by the success of the previous edition, which immersed more than 5,000 participants in a unique immersive atmosphere, this new installment «promises to exceed all expectations,» they stated. For nearly 12 hours, from 1:00 p.m. until midnight, the ‘Secret XMas Party’ will highlight the value of creativity, community spirit, and responsible leisure.

This year’s program includes DJ sessions and electronic music from artists who will provide an energetic sound journey, accompanied by immersive visual installations including video mapping, laser effects, and interactive projections around the iconic water tank, a work by the artist Haz Average.

Highlights include the 50-meter LED installation on the water tank of the Cuartel de Artillería, the Family Immersion Zone Circúbica and Fúor Party, an interactive space designed for both children and the general public with light games and creative materials. In this environment, artist Carmen Costa will offer fluorescent makeup and semi-permanent tattoos that will allow participants to shine under the neon lights.

In addition, Alex Mure, known as BLANCO, will surprise with LED technology dance shows, combining acrobatics, urban choreography, and lighting design in a cutting-edge visual spectacle. A carefully selected lineup that combines talent and sonic diversity, highlighting performances by artists such as Groove Bastards, responsible for opening the event with their dynamic rhythms, followed by Son Loc and Agus Ramallo, who will put their personal stamp on the atmosphere.

Throughout the afternoon, the proposals of 1 Night Only and Quetglas will be added, while the night will be marked by the immersive sessions of Jeff Mental and the closing by Camila, whose energy will be the final touch of this immersive cultural day.

The Gastro Zone will open its doors offering artisanal burgers from La Higuerica Food. Additionally, thanks to the collaboration with Estrella de Levante, attendees can enjoy a free beer with their ticket, available until the first barrel runs out. A perfect combination to accompany a day of creativity, music, and coexistence.
